Premium Indian-Style Modular Kitchen Design in Coimbatore
Designed specifically to accommodate the vibrant and diverse Indian culinary lifestyle, this kitchen layout in RS Puram, Coimbatore blends heavy-duty durability with luxury aesthetics. Understanding that traditional Indian cooking involves rich spices, oil, and high heat, we constructed the kitchen carcasses using Boiling Water Resistant (BWR) marine plywood. The shutters are finished in high-gloss anti-fingerprint acrylic laminates that are extremely easy to wipe clean, resisting stubborn turmeric and oil stains.
We implemented a smart 'work triangle' along with a functional wet-and-dry zoning layout to separate high-moisture washing activities from the primary spice cooking zone. The hardware setup includes Hettich soft-close tandem boxes, heavy-load corner carousels, custom multi-tier bottle pull-outs for spice jars, and a high-suction auto-clean chimney to ensure a smoke-free environment. Sourced directly from our automated factory, the modular cabinets fit together flawlessly with zero on-site wood-cutting mess, completed with an elegant white quartz countertop.

The Brief
The client, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, wanted a spacious modular kitchen that could handle daily traditional South Indian cooking (which involves heavy spices, high heat, and wet grinding) while maintaining a sleek, luxury look without clutter on the countertops.
Our Solution
We engineered a customized L-shaped kitchen using Boiling Water Resistant (BWR) marine plywood for the wet zone and highly durable MR blockboard for wall cabinets. We integrated a dedicated space for heavy appliances (like the mixer-grinder and wet grinder) inside a roller-shutter appliance garage. To store Indian spices and grains, we designed multi-tier stainless steel wire baskets and spice pull-outs near the cooking hob, combined with a high-airflow chimney and quartz countertop.
