Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous BOM & Cutlist Preparation Specialist. You will translate approved 3D designs and floor plans into precise production drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and cutlists. This role ensures sub-millimeter manufacturing accuracy for factory production, minimizing wastage and ensuring that all edge-banding, groove-details, and hardware selections are executed flawlessly in our automated manufacturing unit.
Requirements
- Proven experience in modular kitchen and wardrobe fabrication details and joinery techniques.
- Familiarity with wood, board (BWR Ply, HDHMR), and hardware optimization software (e.g., Cut Rite, OptiCut).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, IMOS, or similar specialized manufacturing CAD/CAM software.
- Strong analytical skills with sub-millimeter accuracy and attention to manufacturing details.
Responsibilities
- Review approved 3D designs and detailed structural measurements from site execution teams.
- Generate exact cutlists for CNC machines and beam saws, detailing substrate, edge-band, and laminate codes.
- Calculate comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOMs) for hardware, basket pull-outs, profiles, and shutters.
- Verify edge-banding and groove specifications for each module before sending drawings to the shop floor.
- Coordinate with the factory supervisor and purchase team to ensure raw material availability matches cutlists.
